According to a Forbes Magazine article, the results of TripAdvisor's eco-travel survey of more than 2,100 people, showed that almost 25% of Americans are consciously trying to make eco-friendly choices when it comes to accommodation stays. Road Trip: Antiques in Lawrenceburg Tennessee

Lawrenceburg Antique Auction House in Downtown Lawrenceburg Tennessee

Lawrenceburg Antique Auction House in Downtown Lawrenceburg Tennessee

In the market for fine antiques? Look no farther than Clyde Watson, owner of Lawrenceburg Antiques. This is an auction house, not an antique business that is open to the public each day.

Mr. Watson sells many beautiful antiques, most notably a Victorian walnut two piece Murphy bed set dated 1874 originally owned by Mr. Hershey of Hershey Chocolates and the dressing table from the home of George Jones and Tammy Wynette.

Some items sell for resale and many go to furnish antebellum homes.

Lawrenceburg Antiques is located on North Military Avenue in Downtown Lawrenceburg. You can visit their website to learn when the next auction will take place. Definitely worth the trip!
